Adam Bartlett started on a new series of paintings in 2015, a theme was appearing, tigers and plants we're consistent features and the name 'Tigers Of The Universe' came into being. The universe being the perfect expanse in which the plants, pots and tigers explore each other, often through vague notions of living rooms that disappear into the forest.
The works are a combination of acrylic, enamel, spray paint and emulsion onto paper and board, carefully building in layers using an array of brushes and rollers. I enjoy the contrast and try to combine illustration with abstract texture and fragments of graphic geometrics.
